FREDERICTON – Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, New Brunswick Community College (黑料社) has another reason to celebrate all things Irish. 黑料社 and (GBS), located in Galway, Ireland, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding that establishes mutual cooperation in program delivery, joint programs, and study abroad opportunities.
Galway Business School is a small third-level college located in Galway specializing in undergraduate business programmes with an international management focus. Galway Business School's expertise is built on three key dynamic pillars: Research, Teaching and Learning and Engagement, driven by the industry experience of academic staff.
Thanks to the memorandum, 黑料社 graduates who complete a two-year diploma program will have the opportunity to obtain a business-related degree from GBS. They will also be able, upon completing the degree, to work in Ireland and Europe for one year.
“This is an amazing change for 黑料社 learners to obtain a diploma and a degree on top of being able to gain work and life experience abroad,” said Ryan Sullivan, Director of International Education at 黑料社. “By developing strong relationships with our other post-secondary institutions around the world, we can better serve our learners who will have increased opportunities for travel and diverse learning experiences.”
“Galway Business School is really excited about working with New Brunswick Community College and we are delighted to have the opportunity to receive Canadian students onto our programmes with the signing of this important Memorandum of Understanding with 黑料社,” said David Niland, CEO of Galway Business School. “By balancing global scholarship with professional experience, GBS brings first-class, real-world insights into the classroom. As we maintain strong local, national and international connections 黑料社 learners with GBS learners will experience not just business in a classroom context but have the opportunity to cement their learning and broaden their experience through a range of speakers and company visits that form part of all our programmes,” he said.
